CATURDAY ART GALLERY

One of the features of the new IPhone 13 is called the "portrait" mode and when using it the subject is highlighted and encircled with a solid black ground.  It's very dramatic.  I'd taken a series of pictures of June using this option and simply decided to crop and arrange them into a "poster".  Hairline rule borders, white, surround each image.  As the individual camera photos are large, it's easy to crop them tightly without losing detail, such as the close up of her face.  I've found that different lighting in the apartment will cast her furs and eyes differently, though in these images I did not use photoshop to change or compensate for that.

  1. The close-up of the whisker hump does it for me.

  2. Very dramatic. You have captured the essence of the mercurial Miss June purrfectly. That is your art -- being able to use your very refined eye to evoke a variety of feelings from a single feline using only your phone camera. I guess you could say "you phoned it in."

  3. That is certainly a brilliant feature, especially if one is out and about and doesnt have access to desktop features.
