CHEAPER by the DOZEN
Yes, we're cheating about these "cheepers" as there are far more than a dozen,
and they likely quack anyway. But dozen is our D word, so be it.
Photographed in the backyard of a bed and breakfast on
Chincoteague Island while vacationing there in the summer of 2017,
and posted to this blog around the same time.
aaah our favorite letter... DUCK-tape LOL

TBT: We had Muscovy ducks in our yard for a few days a couple decades ago. They were SO ugly, I thought they were diseased. A newspaper article a few weeks after mentioned a flock that had come to the area from a storm and that "a few people had seen them in their yards. Naturally, I was one of them.
ReplyDelete"Somewhere" I have a picture of Tinkerbelle (I think) going out to challenge them on her territory. That didn't work out well for her. She fled under the attack of several at once. They don't have teeth, but there is a reason for the saying "nibbled to death by ducks'.
