If you happened to see our post yesterday, you'll have seen June curled up on the day bed,
thus postponing the changing of the bed linens.
thus postponing the changing of the bed linens.
After a time, she hopped off to move to a sunny spot on her cat tree by the window.
So the bed sheets were changed, the coverlet back on and throw pillows in place.
Then the Mom when out to join friends for lunch ...
Returning an hour or so later to see this.
A lump. A bump. A shadow.
Apparently, June likes the freshly changed bed sheets as much as the old dirty ones.

ReplyDeleteOh My June Bug, someone might sit on you. ha ha... dirty or clean, we can see what you mean... how dare she leave you all alone?
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice cozy place. Bailie loves a bed with clean sheets, she jumps right in and rolls around to get the all smelling just right.
ReplyDeleteJune, you got that right! Jump right into those nice clean sheets and get them all warmed up for your Mommy. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe too have had lumps like that!
ReplyDeleteJune that is a signature lump of approval

ReplyDeleteFlynn used to do that. The first time he did it he was up tight to the pillows so we couldn't see a lump. We searched high and low for him and thought he had got out of the garden. Big panic!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is cute. Cool pillows. XO
ReplyDeleteThat is my favorite spot too.
ReplyDeleteTis the season for happy lumping sweet June!
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHeeheehee! June, you are most precious, and funny and entertaining.
ReplyDeleteThat's a stealthy and warm spot you found, Juney!
ReplyDeleteWe loved noticing you unner the bedcovers June! Yours are sure fancier than ours. And you look better unner them than we would.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that what it's all about? Uh, the cat/dog being happy? Right? And Mom tells us "scoot" when she needs to change the bed (soon after we've got it all stink a lishus). And Chia and June could be cousins. Chia does the same thing, burrowing under any covers around. XOX Xena and my gang
ReplyDeleteI loved this! And June, I can't wait to roll in and over fresh bed linens. I LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteYes, but what happens when the LUMP turns into LUMP-PEE? Of course, a cat's happiness is of utmost importance! Tee hee.
ReplyDeleteOona: "Oona helped Dada change the sheets the same way last week! First she crawled around on the fitted sheet, then she crawled around on the flat sheet, then she got under the comforter and crawled around under there. Dada said the lump moving around underneath the covers reminded him of the movie 'Alien'."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Yeah sounds about right. You are definitely some kind of extraterrestrial monster."
Oona: "AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!!"
