Mine Mommy had a little talk with me last night, said she had "lots on her plate" for the next day (which is now today). I got all excited, wondering if that meant there'd be "lots on my plate" ~ there never does seem to be enough (she's considering re-naming me Ms Chubbs, by the way, but that's a talk for another day). Anyway, early this morning I got busy scoping out all my best Sunday sleeps spots, where I'll spend the day while she's away ... other than the closet which is my where-to-go spot during storms and the arrival of strange peoples ... there's The Tree ... The Blankie Basket ... and always, The Polka Dot Chair. Always good to be prepared!
And of course, I'll keep an eye on things until she comes home.
She just best remember to leave "lots on my plate".

I am sure you will take good care of the place while your Mommy is away. I hope you do get lots (of food) on your plate.
ReplyDeleteJune, I especially love that second photo. Only my angel Chumley would sleep belly up like that; it's an irresistible sleeping pose!
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom doles out lots on your plate for your next meal. You deserve a bit extra for "guarding" your home while she's out.
Well, SHE said it, right? When you talk about lots on a plate, you have to come through! You have lots ofgreat places to snooze as you wait!
ReplyDeletePurrs,

We hope she left you lots on your plate. Precious always wants food in the dish when she knows I'm leaving the house. Hope your mommy has a good day.
ReplyDeleteWe think having lots on your plate would be a wonderful thing, but Mom insist it isn't. We hope that your Mom is able to clear her plate and gets to come home and spend lots of relaxing time with you. Our Mom insist paw massages are called for on "lots on your plate" kind of days.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your Mommy did, indeed, leave you "lots on your plate". You deserve due reward for snoopervising effurrything while she is out.

ReplyDeleteFirst, Miss June, so we don't forget, we want to tell you we like your November heading a lot! Mommy hardly ever changes ours, but that's ok. We hope you get a lot on your plate and have picked out just the right spot to spend the day! XOX Xena and my pack
ReplyDeleteWe hope all that stuff on Mom's plate went well, Juney. You did a great job of using all your sleeping spots -- very busy day for you! Did om bring you anything to make your plate full?
ReplyDeleteI hope the day didn't take too long so that you were able to give your Mine Mommy a scowl for leaving you alone all day, and then forgiving her and allowing some yummy noms to make you remember why it is that you love her! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAdorable images, Miss June!!
