HAPPY IS
Because mine Mommy sometimes gets all upset with the way the world is,
I thought to share with her my thoughts about how to be happy.
I thought to share with her my thoughts about how to be happy.
Happy is: getting a bit of fresh air, I so enjoy that here at my window
Happy is: remembering even on a cloudy day the sun still shines somewhere
Happy is: a birdie will fly by if I'm patient,
good things come when you just wait a bit
good things come when you just wait a bit
Happy is: the church bells will ring again on the next hour, just listen
Happy is: flowers are beginning to bloom in the park,
take a walk, see them, smell them
take a walk, see them, smell them
Happy is: share a smile and a kind word with someone today
and oh, remember to pet my furs,
and oh, remember to pet my furs,
petting is like hugging, it's a magical kind of happy
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
... and before I forget, it will make me happy if'n you'll put all my
springs back on the window rim, I had lots of happy-fun in the night
putting them all in my rounder ... meow
Hopefully your springs will land back where they belong soon! Enjoy your window and a bit of fresh air.

Your happy are wonderful, June. Every day I get up now and just resolve to make the best of the day and try to focus on that, on the small joys. Tell your mum to take good care of herself, especially her mental health right now. ๐

Yes, the outdoors is my happy place -- when the weather isn't too terribly cold or hot, that is. Today was one of those days. And time spent with my precious pups, too!
ReplyDeleteOh sweetie...you sure were busy during the night. Hope your springs manage to find their places again in the window.
ReplyDeleteJunie, you have a wonderful life in such a purrfect place! And we liked seeing what you see out the window!
