It's Monday.

It said you has to RTW.
Or you'll be subject to a RIF.
It came from the OPM.

I will return to whining.
I do not want to be part of a reduction in felines.

sorry, no clue what this means.
ReplyDeletein france rtw is ready to wear... hmmm... that means you get new clothes ;o)
ReplyDeleteWe have no idea what that email means but maybe you do?
ReplyDeleteI had no idea either so googled each set of letters, and now I do understand!
ReplyDeleteYikes, kinda scary with either meaning, June! I grew up in the DMV, so having an acronym for it works for me.
ReplyDeleteConfuzzling.
ReplyDeleteAcronyms: we've all got 'em, but they only pertain to those in the circle; the rest of us are, "speak in English, please!"
ReplyDeleteThank you, I thought DMV was department of motor vehicles....

I never got that email thankfully, Juney.
ReplyDeleteAcronyms always send me into orbit. And don't get me started when they're in text messages. Those kinds of shortcuts end up making me try to figure out what the person wanted to communicate. Ugh. Here's wishing you an acronym-free week!
ReplyDeleteWe got it right away without the acronym explanation. Our mom was subjected to an RIF once and we keep up with the news and knowing where you live were very familiar with DMV meaning your region and not that place you stand in line forever to do something with your car or drivers license. BOL!
ReplyDeleteI knew all of the acronyms except for DMV...
ReplyDeleteThat is scary. XO
ReplyDeleteGood news sweet June, you can't get a RIF because you are in charge!
ReplyDeleteJune, I don't think you will be reduced, work or no work.
ReplyDeleteWe got it, but none of the nonsense makes any sense at all.

Oona: "That is a lot of three-letter acronyms! Are you spies? Oona bets you are spies. LIKE NINJAS!"
ReplyDeleteGee! Humans really do love to shorten things and use letters(initials)
ReplyDeleteMakes me glad to be a cat!!!! Mum is happy to be retired :)

Acronyms often seem to make more work, even though they're meant to make things shorter andf easier!
