BEDTIME

Excuse me, June ... wake up, please.  It's time to go to bed.

We're already in bed.

Well, technically speaking, yes.  Let me rephrase, it's time to go to sleep.

I am already asleep.

Yes, I can see that.  However, I am obviously not and I think you can see that,
if you open your eyes, that is.

But I do not want to open my eyes, because I am asleep.  For the night.

Well, this is a conundrum.

I think you've used that word before, but I don't remember what it means, but
actually I don't care, because I am comfortable, asleep, and happily in dreamland,
chasing mouses and have no intention of doing anything differently.

Yes, a conundrum.
Final warning, kitty cat.  I am about to move that foot which your tail is wrapped around
which may toss you off the bed and, and ...

And I might wake and bite your flutterby-socked toes ...

I'd be thankful if you wouldn't do that ...

And I'd be thankful if you wouldn't wake me up ...

THANKFUL THURSDAY

  4. Sometimes sharing the bed with humans is not easy. We have a big bed but sometimes it seems crowded too when everyone is stretched out including Mom.

  5. aaah we know that... google said a human can wait for 9 hours with having pets on body parts... so no hurry to interrupt the sleep of our furkids hehe

  14. MOL MOL JUNE how dare Mom use $5.00 words when you are in la la land happily dreaming.
My wireless keyboard and mouse were not working this morning in spite of new batteries so I'm running very late.

  21. Ah, the joy of having to sleep around our pets. I've found myself in all sorts of odd positions on the bed with cats stretched out making it necessary.

  22. This is a very interesting conversation, June. Conundrum is a favorite word of mine. How did the whole conundrum conversation and situation work out I am wondering.

  23. What a conundrum indeed. Your mommy needs to go to bed and you just want to stay asleep. How in the world can you resolve this dilemma?
