CROSSING THE STREET

Yesterday I mentioned I'd soon start FURst grade.
It's impawtent to practice this one thing before I have to go to school.

"June, how silly you are sometimes.  You're not even an outdoor kitty.
Remember, you'll have your lessons and homework here at home."

But I can purr-tend and anywayz
I always have to watch out for those big feetz of yours
as you cross the room thisaway and thataway.

I still remembers when once upon a time you stepped on my tail!

  1. How much fun would that be to climb the steps on the school bus and sit with the kids, Juney! Mom has stepped on my tail too as we walked down the outside steps. It's not fun, is it.

  2. You are going to school, home school. We are home schooled too. There is nothing wrong with learning at home and Mom says it is better that way.

  3. June, you did very well in that street crossing practice session! I still think home schooling is best for kitties, though!

  4. One can never be too careful. Over here, little dragon Ryū gets stepped on regularly and screams his head off!

  6. Oh June, if you only knew the number of times a kitty got in the way of a human's foot around here.
Henry is learning to get underfoot too!

  9. We think home schooling is a great way to learn, and it's always good to practice looking both ways before crossing the carpet!

  19. So cute! Your narrative really makes me believe it's all real. And, of course, June with her fabulous expressions and poses lends a certain truth to it. So when does the home schooling begin? I might learn somethng, too, so I'll have to check in more often.
