Too many still see the world through rose colored glasses.
Wake up. See what is real.
Remember that saying "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil?"
Please. See it, it's real. Hear it, it's out there, every day, everywhere. It's real.
Speak out against it. It's real.
And then there's this poem by Shel Silverstein, a favorite of ours,
we've often shared his works.
Here he is saying much the same thing in a different way.
After reading (if you do) think a moment:
Are you a "did not" ... or are you a "did".
WOULDA-COULDA-SHOULDA
All the Woulda-Coulda-Shouldas
Layin' in the sun
Talkin' 'bout the things
They woulda coulda shoulda done ...
But those Woulda-Coulda-Shouldas
All ran away and hid
From one little Did.
that one little poem says so much.. you are definitely in the DIDs
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%. People need to wake up and see what is happening before it is too late. The poem is very appropriate.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteCute kitty, love the photo. I agree, people should speak up. We will not be able to run away. Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great day and a happy weekend.
Cute June photo, and wise words, indeed.
ReplyDeleteSome are speaking up but nothing happens. It's frustrating.
ReplyDeleteWe do need to make a difference and soon.
ReplyDeleteThis happens when someone finds a stray cat; 'can someone come get it?'
ReplyDeleteNo, you put on your adult pants and learn TNR, borrow a trap, and do the right thing.

That's a great poem to share. We try to be the ones that "do".
ReplyDeleteMay we not be buried under our regrets someday.
