ROUNDABOUTS and DONUTS

My donut. It is good for sleeping. Great for scratching.
For rolling my toys around in it.
Half a donut is good,
and a whole donut is even better!

Sometimes mine Mommy calls it the
roundabout cause I look round, or half round, when in it.

By the way, mine Mommy doesn't much
like roundabouts. I asked her about that. She said,
they're things you have to drive around, sometimes in big cities,
and she usually has to drive around them many, many times
before she can figure out how to get out of them
or off of them and
they always make her blood pressure go up, up.
No, she doesn't like her kind of roundabouts.

  1. Your roundabout is much better than the road ones, Juney!

  2. As a rather rule state all the sudden we have roundabouts in the most peculiar places. And not many of us country folks enjoy them. However the one that June has looks like it's much appreciated.

  4. That is fun that you can have a whole or a half donut for variety. Mom has gotten used to roundabouts since she lived in Germany and now they are everywhere around here. She always thinks of the Griswalds in European vacation when she sees roundabouts, such a funny scene for them in the one in England.

  6. A cute size and shape to lounge in for kitties, but as a much larger size to drive in, not so much!

  9. I am with your momma on the traffic round a bouts... they make me crazy and others drive crazy and they have been building them on almost every road here. I had to go through 2 when running back and forth to hospital for a month with bob, two and 3 times a day

  12. Oh June ~ you are precious and make the 'round about' fun ~
In Ireland ~ I did not care for driving the round about going the opposite way than we do ~ brain took awhile getting used to that ~ hugs,

  13. June, weird I know, but I adore roundabouts!
They are quicker to get through than waiting for a green light.
Plus, The Cat Car is tiny, and can zip through with ease.
I do like YOUR roundabout; have been contemplating getting one for Da Boyz.

  16. That's a cute donut/roundabout, and it looks great for sitting and napping in.

We have been getting more roundabouts here in California now. There is an older one on an intersection right near CatSynth HQ, but they are also now appearing in the suburbs and more rural areas. I'm actually fine with them, but unfortunately a lot of folks haven't really figured them out yet, so it can be a little nerve-wracking at times.

  19. Not a fan of roundabouts either, June. And we have a whole bunch of them. I am amazed I have never seen an accident at one because there is a whole lot of people that find them confusing and they have to use them to get where they are going. Now your roundabout is a whole other matter :)
