You know I've always thought I was an only cat.
And I liked it like that!
Soon I'll start FURst Grade. OK, I still might need to work on my spelling,
but over the summer I did learn my counting skills.
When I got up on the day bed this morning, I realized,
it was already occupied by twenty-one cats!
That's right. You purrably can't see them all, but trust me,
there are 21 right there behind me.
Now I think that is something to "MEO-AWWW' about!
It is yet to be determined whether that is a good AWWW or otherwise.
The ones who are wearing sunglasses look a little louche to us!

ReplyDeleteThere may also be 21 cats in the furst grade with you. When I was a little hooman, the nuns had 35 of us in furst grade class. That would be overpowering today.

ReplyDeleteBecause you are the only cat in the apartment which can give and receive hugs, and better, can purr, none of the other cats count at all.
ReplyDeleteUs pups have a pillow with that many cats on it, too...but you know those are cats who share everything...and never butt in to what you are doing!
