Oh dear. Here it is, the day before Christmas. I looked here. I looked there.
Our mine Mommy's little tree had been on the table for a long time now.
Mine Mommy's our holiday cards now hung by the window,
no longer in the Merry Basket, so we could easily see and enjoy them.
But me? What about me? I wasn't really ready for Santy to arrive ... was I?
I had to do something, soon, fast, in a hurry, quickly ...
so I was up at dawn to decorate "my tree", and yes, little JuneToo came to help,
and yes, some lights are purple, and yes, I'm wearing my Ravens hat,
because win-or-lose we always support those we like best,
and yes, it's right here by the window so Santy can see it when he is
flying by tonight ... here I am Santy ...
here I am,

ReplyDeleteJune! Darling! you look totally terrific in your hat with the decorations!
ReplyDeleteSoooooo what did our totally overworked Peep do today? Did she help me with my Blog? (nope), Did she help me visits my furrends? (we came to see you...that's it...) Did she write her report on the Seniors Digital Literacy course she ran and has to send off to the funders before the end of the year (she started but the phone rang) Did she shovel the snow that falled last night? (Nope). Did she take Nutmeg for a long walk? (Nope too rainy/slushy, icy she did not want to manhandle her Rolls).
So what did she do? She went and helped to put together the 116 Christmas Dinners that the people at the Bridge will deliver tonight! (Helping others makes her happy) Then she came in and read you guys email! We are pleased that your parcel arrived before Christmas (Mom has the same mug and she too uses it mostly for coffee). Happy Christmas! Sending you both ❤️❤️Marvelous and Mom!
If Santy misses your tree, he will surely spot your hat - it's fabulous June.
