Yes, of course I know how to spell "ornaments", after all I'm not in kittengarten anymore and my spelling has gotz very good now. However, I am still going to call these "ornery-ments" and I'll tell you why if you care to know [but mebbe you do not] ...
You see, we do not have space in our little studio for a big tree, we just have a little tree. So every year, mine Mommy has put two garlands on our window blinds. And on those garlands we would display our ornaments! She has her red-and-white stripey ornaments because red-and-white stripey things, all things [especially her sox] are just her thing. And I have my blue-and-white polka dot ornaments because ~ well, you know! It looked so purrty and made us both happy!
Earlier this year our management gave us a set of new blinds ~ and actually we are very pleased with them, they are better in all ways. Well, all 'cept for one. They are super lightweight and when mine Mommy went to hang our garlands last week, "oopsie", it wouldn't and couldn't support them, "oh no, oh dear" ~ it just was not to be.
No garland and no stripey or polka-dot ornaments for she or me.
Not this Christmas you see,
they've not yet found a new home,
these ornery-ments.
We shall see, too big for our little tree.
It seems whatever will be, will be,
So, I am feeling a bit ornery!
Meowz.

on no, butt I am sure mommy will find a way to hang them, maybe loop it on the wall with those stackable plastic hooks or over the door frame? I assume they have to be HIGH away from ornery cats? ha ha
ReplyDeleteYour ornies are so cute, Juney. Certainly, there must be someplace you can hang them. You need to get creative☺ We have little trees here too.
ReplyDeleteOh no! That is such a major bummer. If our Mom was close by she would come by to help figure out a way to hang up your ornaments. There has to be a way to use maybe those removable sticky hooks to hold the garland.
ReplyDeleteThe ornaments are pretty and I love the Juney photos. Take care, enjoy your day and great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteooh even a super orneryment with polka dots... thats made for you... and just for you
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope your Mommy can find a way to hang those orneryments somewhere.
ReplyDeleteOh dear oh dear, June!
ReplyDeleteHowever, we know that your meowmy will cook up something, somehow.
Hmm, I think your Mine Mommy will find a way, June :)
ReplyDeleteWe're sure your mommy will figure it out.

ReplyDeleteNot knowing the exact layout of your apartment, I cannot suggest anything definite, but is there a way to hang the garlands from bookcases or a large TV stand so they drape from one to the other?
ReplyDeleteI hope you find a place to put your ornaments up, June. Maybe a bookcase if you have one?
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope you find a solution :(
ReplyDeleteYour mommy is smart, she will find a way. Maybe use 3m hooks. XO
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope you and Mom find a way to hang your pretty ornaments, sweet Juney!
ReplyDeleteOh those are pretty ornaments, June, and hopefully there will be a way to display them!
ReplyDeleteWell doggone it...sorry about no red or blue orney-ments. But I must say, you're table tree is quite lovely and festive. 🎄
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Hmm, maybe you can just scatter the ornery-ments on the floor and then you can knock them around for a while ... ?"
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could display them in a wicker basket?
