As we are experiencing non-stop rain, with gale-force winds due later, it's the PURRFECT day to sit quietly and contemplative. Except for the rollicking Sherlock Holmes audiobook that I've started; ahh, there is nothing like a Victorian-era story to enjoy with cats on the lap and hot tea in the cup.
Sweet June. The quiet after is the best part of the holiday season for me. Sit back and reflect on the memory of this season with our little tree lights bright and relax with a glass of wine.
We drove 26 miles to church this morning in pouring rain...and decided to not go again this afternoon...pouring buckets still, and i the dark the homeward journey would be horrible. Soon as the Eastside Cats said we are going to see a fast change from about 50F to in the 20'sF and wind gusts of 50mph or more...weather warnings abound for tonight and tomorrow. So yes we are now safely and quietly ensconced in our humble home. Our pups are doing the same as you are, Miss June!
June, you look lovely and contemplative and completely content! ❤️
