Many, well most evenings ~ I am gracious and considerate ~
allowing mine Mommy to relax in our my polka dot chair.
It's a recliner, so she can put her foots up, after her long, hard easy day,
read a book, watch a movie, you know ~
those things hu-moms like to do before bed [sometimes she even naps!].
By the paw, that "nap" thing I have never understood.
Meowz, why not just simply go to bed, that's what I'd do ...
Anywayz. As she's commandeered our my chair, I sit in the Ikea one beside her.
And all I really wanted to say today was "thank you",
for as nice a chair as it is, it does have wooden arms.
But if you'll take note, she recently got me a new small 'n' soft blankie,
strategically placed over one arm of the chair so as I rest my little head here,
it is much more comfy.
PS I'm watching her right now. Ssshhh, I actually think she is
nodding off, which is making me feel some sleepies, too. Does that
happen to you? Do you feel sleepies when you see someone else being sleepy?

Our mom refuses to go in bed until it is time to sleep all night. She too falls asleep on the couch in the evenings sometimes but we don't mind. We are all snoozing, waiting to go up to bed. Your blanket looks so soft and warm, I bet you really love it.
ReplyDeleteMy mom falls asleep in her recliner while the TV is on too, Juney. I used to stand there and stare at her but I finally stopped doing that. Your head rest blankie looks very soft and it's very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat blanket does look super soft, June! And wow, your eyes look fantastically gorgeous in that picture!
