This is a sequel to our June 7 post "Sunday Sup-Purr".
In that post, June was demanding a seat at the table. She ended by snarfing up
a few crumbs, then leaving to seemingly create a few protest signs.
a few crumbs, then leaving to seemingly create a few protest signs.
Well, we never saw any protest signs. Lazy cat.
And during this past week, her Mommy's new desk arrived, was assembled
and set up ~ thus all the clutter 'n' stuff on the dining table disappeared.
Apparently, all the open and uncluttered space was calling her name ...
your being up on the table ...
ahem, that half look doesn't quite cut it, girl.
June, June! That was neither a suggestion or invitation to lie down.
We were to have a little talk about your being up on the table
at all, in any pawsition, at any time ...
and I said "look at me, not a half look!"
Hey you, come back here, right now,
we were having a very serious
June and mine Mommy talk!

Ain't that the truth! I always do my thing, regardless of these two who say THEY rescued ME. Could two humans possibly be more wrong?! Funny- I do that half look thing, and I also have a mean side-eye I often put to good use. Yeah, I listen about as well as any feline typically does. Whatever.
ReplyDeleteJUNE here, I decide to comment on my own post ~ my Auntie Dee, and mine Mommy's BFF, is home now in Maryland, up from hot Florida to spend summer here. Did she know MerryLand would be just as hot? Oh, dear. Anywayz, the two of them are off to Baltimore's PRIDE Parade today, they plan to be near the "Pet Parade" part (I'm a bit envious ...) and little do they know I will spend all my time, the entire time they're away ~~ up on this very table, yes: up here, enjoying the city view, no one can stop me now!
ReplyDeleteHa, June, you're becoming quite accomplished at seizing any opportunity to get around! Go for it! (That's what our kitties say! Meows)
ReplyDeleteJune, you do you!
ReplyDeleteAll of us go wherever we please at Poupounette Central (well, there are a few rules for woofie Ollie...). We would not tolerate anything else!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Rules????? You're a cat, you go where you want!!!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure June isn't part sheepdog? Stubborn is as stubborn does. 😻
ReplyDeleteJune we all know(even if we don't admit it) cats arrive and leave from places on a whim. Angel Madi often gave me that same look. I called it her over the shoulder look of "you have confused me with someone who is listening'.
ReplyDeleteI love Mom's table mats
Hugs cecilia
You are adorable no matter what you are doing sweet June! I hope your Mom and Auntie Dee have a fun time!!!
ReplyDeleteLook at you up on the table waiting for the food to be served!☺
ReplyDeleteCute June images! Is the desk a new place for kitty poses. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteHope your mine Mommy, her friend and your Auntie are having a wonderful day🌞
Guess you weren't up for talking right now, eh June?
ReplyDeleteHaha brilliant! My cats go all over! Great photos June :-D
ReplyDeleteCute post, I love that last shot. :) XO
ReplyDeleteYou're such a cutie, June. I always thought cats got to go wherever they could get to and nobody can stop them. BOL!
ReplyDeleteShe cleaned off the dining room table just for you, right June?
ReplyDeleteOona: "June! Oona would like to talk to you as well! She would like to point out that the placemat next to you looks PERFECT for sharpening your murder mittens!"
ReplyDeleteWell played June. You showed her who was in charge and who decided where you could go!

Cats can be a lot like those irritating people who oblige you only when you are looking, and when they think you are diverted, go ahead and do whatever they want.
ReplyDeleteJune, we’re just like you…we do whatever we want whenever we want!
ReplyDeleteIt seems June was seriously uninterested in having that talk!
