And certainly posted with an attempt at a bit of humor, then and now,
as natural disasters everywhere are very serious ... and we pray for all our friends and
furriends who hurt and suffer as a result.
The "names" mentioned ... Karl, Pablo, Grace, Victor, Lily and Marilyn
were all blogging kitties in 2008, and also actual hurricane names at that
time ~ thankfully, we've never gotten to the Letter "Z".
We hope there's very few hurrycanes this year.

ReplyDeleteWe are very lucky here as we don't get hurricanes although we do get very strong winds that flatten fences and blow tiles off roofs but they are nothing in comparison.

We sure hope it is a quiet hurrycane season this year. We both come from a kennel called hurricane. Thunder did too

Hurrycanes are very scary! I am in Michigan, so they aren't a huge threat to me personally, but I have a lot of family in Florida. I'm always nervous when I hear that there is a storm headed that way. I hope all of you stay safe this hurrycane season!

ReplyDeleteBut... but... in 2005, they ran out of hurricane names after W and had to start over with Greek letters. Surely that counts as a Z? Or maybe tropical storm Zeta?
