THANKFUL THURSDAY

I am always thankful when I find new and interesting toys to play with.
On this day I found three.  And they are inter-active!

SPECIAL NOTE:
June would never, and is never allowed to play with these
under normal circumstances.  When blinds are opened, the pulls are
always tucked way up high, out of reach.  It was allowed this one morning,
under supervision while I watched and took photographs, just as they were being opened, and allowed because she was having fun!

We'll share our new toy for
Thankful Thursday at

  4. this looks adorable but here is the thing. I read and article about cats and blind strings and it said they are dangersous, at first i thought hanging themselves, but they said they can swallow one of the things on the end and it gets hung and can't be pulled out... google how to cat proof blinds. i see danger everywhere and store these things in my mind until someone jogs it lose

    1. Thanks Sandra ... I've added a "PS" above, these photos were somewhat of a set-up, allowing her to play only
for a few moments, under supervision while I took the pictures. Usually when I open the blinds, early morning (or even other times) the cords are tucked in way up high, out of reach.
Safety first for our pets, and little bipeds too!

  6. Junie, our Celestial Chuck chewed through so many of the blind cords, that we had to make special places to tie them up so he couldn't chew any more of them!
He also chewed through my camisole strap, and the tie for several pj bottoms.

  7. No doubt you were right there supervising her. We always have to be careful what they play with. I so remember.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to June. ♥

  8. Hee! Hee! We had those in the blinds in the bay window. We pull out the strings and make them into a tangled mess! Mom has been thinking about taking the blinds down.

  9. That shows who really pulls the strings at your house.

  10. We're glad your mom was watching you playing with those cords. The blinds might have come crashing down on you.

Oh, and the new cherry blossom header looks real pretty!

  11. Those do look like fun toys but in the end, moms do know best about the toys that are acceptable and the ones that are not.

  12. Those are super fun! Ours get hidden away usually too. You're real lucky your mom let you play for a while. Enjoy!

  18. June, we know you had some good supervise fun. All those cords here are so tempting, but like the ZH, Mom has them all tucked away where we can't get at them. Always fun finding new toys:)
