HAPPY TUESDAY "BLUES"

Before you scroll down to our regular Happy Tuesday post,
we'd like to clear up a slight misconception about our post yesterday.
First, it took place a week ago Monday (Jan 9) and it referred to a grooming visit, not a vet appointment.
June is fine, she had her annual vet appointment last August, all purrfect.
No blues for June.

Just following though ~ you'll read that Mommy has the blues!
And if you happen to remember that old kids show, she has no "blues clues".

Got up this morning.  Saw all this on the floor by the window!  Oh dear ~ is yellow the new blue?  Can't be.  Pantone said the color of the year for 2023 is "viva magenta".  Neither of us are especially fond of hot pink ... soft pink is just fine, but not the hot version ... but then, just after breakfast, June went off and up onto the window ledge ... and all was right with the world!  BLUE RULES!  Happy Tuesday!

  1. I went out and googled if norton blocks your blog what to do and there is a ton of stuff to read up on...
the only yellow in our house are the fake flowers on the kitchen table. I love yellow flowers, but other than that
have nothing. your yellow springies are great for you. I want to know just who decides what color is which thing. we are already seeing magenta popping up on tv shows.. here we go, good bye Aqua. hello yellow??

  3. Well June, no kitty likes getting dragged off to get her toenails trimmed. But it looks like things turned out pretty good. One week later and you're still with us and playing with your Springs. I wouldn't know why your mommy's blog would be blocked on anything. So I'm glad it didn't happen here at our house, so that we can see what you're up to.

  4. June, I'm glad your vet appointment last week was a salon visit, nothing more! As for Norton...Ugh, stupid technology and software. It's great when it works as it should, but when it doesn't, argghh!

Tell your mom how grateful I am for her kindness and support re: Derry's passing. Why is life so tough when you're a human? Also tell your mom to give you extra treats and cuddles, June, because time with our fur babies is far, far too short. ♥

  5. Our mom turns red hot when something happens with our website. She can't fix things and then she has to spend a bunch of time to try to fix it anyway. We get it. Sometimes the issues we have had just go away one day quietly as they had appeared. We figured you just don't like leaving your home, as most cats don't, so we were not concerned. Have a happy day :)

  6. Good to hear you had your nails done June :)
It is always scary when we leave the home.
Blue is something that should apply to toys and objects.
Happy that all is well in the cozy apartment.

  7. Nothing better than a spa day. I've never had a kitty that liked car rides. It's all good.

    Sorry about Norton. Not right.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥

  9. June a spa day and mani-pedi make a girl feel like a million bucks.
I'm so sorry about that crazy norton misinformation. So far I'm ok.

  10. Glad you got your mani-pedi June, have fun with those springs! Norton doesn't have a clue!

  11. We don't care what Norton says because we will defy the Norton gods and come visit you anyway. We're not scared because we know you are nothing but sweetness and good.

  12. We can see that blue does rule for you, Juney! We have Trend Micro and not Norton so all is good for us and we hope that Norton gets his head out of his hiney soon!

  13. Glad June is nicely groomed and had a good vet check. Blue is our favorite too. Sometimes those safeguards are just obnoxiously grumpy. We hope they'll stop being so grouchy. How could they mix up such a cutie like you with spam? {head shaking in disbelief}

  14. Sorry Norton is doing that to you. XO

  15. We're glad that wasn't a visit to Dr. Stabby.

  16. Yayyy!!! You're back! Now your mom won't have to feel blue any more.

  17. Glad June just went to the groomer, that beats the vet's office any day! I'm partial to blue myself. Sorry to hear about Norton, that's not happening here, but other bloggers I follow have had warnings recently when I know there's nothing wrong with their sites.

  18. Hip Hip Hooray!!!!! We have missed our visits - dumb Norton!!!

  19. Happy that you got a Spa Day! Unhappy about Norton- good grief! Yellow is one of our fav colors and most of our walls are a sunny ( not too bright ) yellow! Living in the Northwest one needs sunshine inside the house! Cheers!

  20. We think all those colors are wonderful, petcretary does actually love Magenta, MOL!

Good thing the groom session left you feeling good, Miss June!

And we are no longer getting the big red page...so hooray, your blog was sprung out of jail! Mr Norton musty have felt embarrassed by all the complaints against his mistaken insults and slander.

  22. Norton has always been awful but lately they are horrible. Blue springs are okay but the other blues are no fun sweetest June.

  23. Why not call Norton customer service and see if they can tell you anything?
If my favorite blogs were blocked, I'd call them myself and complain about censorship.
June, yellow is a nice change.

  24. My virus software (not Norton) began blocking me from Melissa and Mudpie's blog last fall. Just recently I can access it again. I posted in Cats With Blogs on Facebook and Melissa had no idea why it occurred. Apparently nobody else was blocked by their antivirus software. Hope your problem gets resolved !

  25. I remember watching Blue's Clues when the four siblings were growing up. Fun! I can't imagine what Norton could possibly be thinking that anything on your blog is dangerous. Good grief!

I'm glad you like going to the kitty spa. Our kitty cousin angel Madi (aka Medusa, aka the Kitten Overlord) refused to get into her kitty carrier without inflicting bodily serious damage to her Mom!

  26. Oh, a grooming visit. Either way, your mommy did it with the best of intentions.

I'm sorry some antivirus has decided you're dangerous and i hope someone tells those Norton people to knock it off.

  27. I love hot pink so ...I should be happy color wise this year. Grant & Olivia love Blues Clues. I watch it with them when they are here.

  28. I would eat those things. Norton is a pain. Sometimes the groomers are worse than the doctors

  29. This blocking stuff really stinks! June is so cute with her springs :)

  30. We're sorry Norton is doing crazy stuff like that, Juney and Mom Ann. We think blue springs are nice, but not blue mommies.

  31. The Z Kids' mama here. I use McAfee. Haven't had any problems since telling Norton to "take a long walk off a short pier." Glad to read they've finally mended their ways - for now.
