Stunning action shots, the pups love it if they find a feather out on walks, they have so much fun playing with them, it's almost as if they contain cat nip for dogs lol
Your photography never ceases to amaze me. Capturing that finch in flight is award-worthy methinks. I'm also a fan of the alliteration. All together, one smashing post!
Mark's Mews: We have 2 thistle feeders here for the goldfinches. And there are about 14 of them. They empty each tube about halfway each day. The the males are beginning the color up. Nice shot of that one in flight.
Canaries/goldfinches are such pretty little birds!
On Friday, I found a whole pile of feathers out in our woodsy area...I think a predator bird had a birdie meal...a woodpecker it looked like...poor thing, but every creature has to eat, right?
We haven't been filling the birdie feeders now that the grackles are here. But we had to finish up one bag of seeds before the mousies decide to dig into it. We love seeing the nice little birdies with their pretty Spring feathers. But now the grackles are hogging up the feeders. Not to mention the Evil Squirrel Cartel! Well, Rosie and Baby will have their work cut out for them chasing those varmints!
What lovely birds! I'm so happy the time of year for birds and summer sounds is hear! Today, I hear the songs of the frogs and crickets and am so enjoying it! Thanks for stopping by my Blog Hop!
