ONE WORD WEDNESDAY: DEPLORABLE

It is not YOUR house.

It is the People's house.

We are your landlords.

You are renting it short term.

You've broken the terms of your lease

and will be evicted, one way or another.

We did not give you permission to destroy it.

In other, late breaking and still unfolding news: trump is suing himself and his own administration/government for $230 million dollars, which of course, should he win, he says ... will be "donated to charity".  This pair of lawsuits are for damages he personally suffered as a private citizen when the government indicted him for his crimes against the people of this nation and the government.  A push me pull me twist and turn complex puzzle to be closely watched: for the lawyers who once defended him as a private citizen now serve at the highest levels within the DOJ and would likely be the very lawyers to determine and judge the validity of these lawsuits should they move up through the court system. In September of 2016, Hillary Clinton was maligned for calling trump supporters a "basket of deplorables".  Perhaps in hindsight, she was not referring to his voters and followers.  Perhaps she was prophetic in seeing nearly a decade ahead to a time when our country would have a White House staffed by deplorables ... a Cabinet run by deplorables ... and a Congress of deplorables ... all tottering and mimicking and doing the bidding of the biggest deplorable one of them all.  No need to name him.

  2. I guess he figured that Milania wasn't using the East Wing anyway, may as well tear it down. He truly never plans to leave.

This will answer age old the question of "what would happen if Versailles puked on the Whitehouse."

  3. It made me angry to see what he is doing to the White House. Every time I see him in the oval office that he has put gold on everything it makes me sick to my stomach.

  4. Deplorable is the gentlest I could use for this. Perhaps what is even more infuriating is that no one with the power and authority to stop home from taking a wrecking ball to the White House, looting the treasury, or now threatening to send troops to my city, is doing anything.
On some levels, I am feeling more optimistic overall than I felt earlier this year, but weeks like this remind me of what we are still up against.

  5. Lulu: "We're sure that if he 'wins', the money will be donated to 'charity'. And since 'charity' begins at home it will probably used to buy himself another tacky house ..."

  10. I'm sure he's got his own Charity that ends up back in his pocket. He rules unchecked by either decency or government.

  11. Deplorable, shameless, certifiable, demented, a dictator more powerful than many who have come before...murdering at will, physically attacking citizens--legal citizens, children, women, handicapped citizens, throwing elderly people to the ground, leaving children outside in their underwear, crying for their mother or father who are being taken away illegally, I cannot go on....where are the heroes of his lackies who will say NO?

  12. I wrote a long comment and it was erased! Perhaps the government read it.....deplorable can now join illegal, megalomanical, frightenly dangerous, murdering, but the reality is that there is no word yet invented that describes this demented human.
