Sharing images from a recent visit to Glenstone in Potomac, MD
with my daughter and youngest grandboy.
My words could never capture the beauty and magic that blends together
architecture and art set into raw nature ...
so I ask that you visit below, to see more.
Sharing with Nature Friday, Rosy and Sunny.
Amazing sky colour you captured there - the stone of the building compliments the sky tones.
ReplyDeletewow, I love all the sculptures and art and that wall is stunning by itself and absolutely spectacualr with the sky behind it. wow on all the photos.

ReplyDeleteAs long as the sun lasts is our thing, bright and cheery, but split rocker is pretty amazing. It looks like a fun place to visit.
ReplyDeleteWe saw Split-Rocker end of season as flowers were beginning to fade, I can only imagine how it might look when in full bloom during spring and summer! And it is at least two-stories tall, if not a bit more ...
DeleteThe art is beautiful, as is the sky.

ReplyDeleteLulu: "Those are some really interesting sculptures and places! I bet our Dada's Dada would be busting out his 3D camera if he were there!"
ReplyDeleteWow, these are amazing! Another reason to come and visit your part of the world again (we went when I was young and I don't remember much).
ReplyDeleteHow tragic that Tony Smith died in his early 30's. There really is a lot of beautiful, unusual and historic art in your area.
