Zoey was always our resident "clown", silly kitty, the forever kitten, the one who never grew up!
  With all her fur and floof, big blue eyes and that little snaggle toof ~ 
plus a purrsonality to match it all ~ she was ready for anything that came her way.

So when the annual Dr. Seuss celebration came 'round, 

little Zo (2006-2020) would put her paws up and volunteer.

DR. SUESS DAY ~ SOCKS vs SOCKS

To honor the inimitable Dr. Suess we have rewritten/written two poems to share today.

SOCKS and SOCKS  
I wear and am known (a little bit) for my red and white stripey socks.  
June on the other paw, for her love of all things polka dot, those polka dots in blue and white.  
Having said that, poem #1 is a slight rewrite of earlier versions from past years. 

It should be noted that June strongly objected to my publishing poem #1 under her name. 

I did relent and allow her to pen her own, poem #2, which she acknowledged and willingly signed.
