Christmas morning 2009 ~ at least I think it is probably 2009! 

Could be almost any Christmas morning.

It's HARD-TO-FIND much of anything in the aftermath of opening gifts. 

Wait a minute, I see some big-boy feet, and also some little-boy feet...

and over there are my stripey-sox... and wait,

wait another minute, do I see a kitty hiding out...

waiting to lay claim to the ribbons 'n' bows 'n' tissue paper? 

She was not HARD-TO-FIND!

Next to my desk in the room that serves as an office a/k/a nursery a/k/a sometimes guest room -- there is an old card table.  This table serves as a catch-all for all manner of things: unfiled bills, mail, computer supplies, baby things. Many things are casually tossed there for want of a proper place to be.  Today however, there is one thing in this catch-all mess that was not tossed there... and this thing is ALIVE.

My House Is A Very Fine House

Our doll house, full of MINIATURE magic.  This house was built circa 1976 by the father-in-law of the Zoolatry Human.  It has moved through five homes and four states and today it entertains a whole new generation of children.

And sometimes, it even entertains the kitties of the house, and as Zoey says,

"my house is a very fine house".

kitchen, that's a favorite room of mine ~ and here is the ZH's granddaughter, welcoming me to the house!

Now I am taking a closer look at the kitchen, yes, I'm sure I see a bowl of kitty food there...

I am far from being a MINIATURE cat, but look, I fit purrfectly...

Having finished my food, I just relax a bit...

Oh yes, my house is a very fine house...

at least it was until I busted the front door!

I am told that I am resting in a basket made of NATURAL materials.

It would be UN-NATURAL for me to not sit in a basket, that's what cats do.

I think it is NATURAL that there is a "not for sale" tag on this basket.

It would be UN-NATURAL for me to be "for sale" [tho Maggy might disagree with that].

I am a NATURAL BAS-KAT.

On a more serious note:  there is nothing natural about cancer.

I don't use big or important numbers yet cause I'm only in Pre-K.

But I did get an A+ on my numbers assignment this week!

The ZH says she'll put my A+ paper on the 'frigerator.  That's cool.

My toy box is not only full of toys 'n' nip 'n' other good things, but it's also the place where I keep all my very COLORFUL Zavatars.  However, I admit that my most favorite Zavatar is not very COLORFUL at all, but if you can find her in this picture and if you look closely at her, I'm sure you'll know why she is my most favorite.

So I patiently sat still and allowed her to comb all my furs vertically!

I even sat still long enough for her to take a photo of me.

It looks kind of like one of those days-of-old-mohawk-hair-do's!
