DECEMBER 22

Perfectly Parker, Darling Millie and Zoey from The Island are definitely trying to get Santa's attention. Poppy Q, Faz and Cheyenne Millie patiently await their turn on Santa's lap. Cory is being on her very best behavior, and practicing posing for her picture with Santa. Allie, Ellie and Sniffie are searching for their wish lists, not knowing that Tamir who looks on has hidden them away! Maggie May and Victor Tabbycat discuss their terrific tails which they plan to show off to Santa. Socks is taking the whole scene in, and is very glad he decided to come back home, or he would have missed the Christmas fun. Brian is sure Santa will come to his house, after all he's been a good, good kitty all year long. Fin is Fin, floof aloof, and confidential, and uncertain about sharing Christmas secrets. Ayla and LC are remembering their brofur Skeeter at Christmas, and remembered also they forgot and left Iza at home! Angel and Kirby share Santa's lap and have been taking a long, long time to tell him what is on their Christmas lists. And Santa Paws has noticed two other kitties crept into the picture, but he isn't sure just who they are...

few of our other animal friends ~
The little penguins of Sea World enjoy snow-filled days all year long, here with my beautiful daughter in law Giovanna, and my granddaughter Isabel. And my grandchildren Isabel and Ethan at play with their little guinea pigs,

Top left & bottom right: a long time friend Susan, with just two from her very own animal kingdom. Shown here, Benji, her Nubian goat and Smokey, her pot-belly pig... who all live happily together with 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 other goats (oh, and her husband). Top right: Great Grandma Helen, with granddaughter Isabel and a magnificent Florida panther. Bottom left: The love of my life, the Zoolatry Dad... and he had better not put that Florida gator, baby or not... in my Christmas stocking! Original photos of Susan with thanks to Dave Schlenker.

Chesapeake Red, Chessie, was with us for over 17-years. A little red-white hunter beagle, I credit her with raising my two children and for a few years, my first grandchild as well.
Brandy, a big clown of a basset, a guardian yet a gentleman, loved much, always missed, often called Branderston.
In May of 2008, a little black beauty came to our door, belly full of kits. Soon the little ones arrived and we had our feral family of Annie, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Dawn. They were with us until mid August, and then moved on elsewhere, they were a joy and shall always be missed. On our sidebar is a link for "Feral Family" with many photos of this special little group of kitties.
