WORDY WEDNESDAY
Whenever I look through my "Maggy" photo folder, which is often, as I love looking at this amazingly beautiful kitty girl ~ I'm reminded of a big difference between she and Zoey. In photo after photo, Maggy's head in bowing down ... or turned to the side ... or she would even quickly and deftly turn away at the sight of the camera. Whereas, Zoey seemed to enjoy the attention and it is rare for me to find a photo of her that is not full-face and if I called her name, she would usually look straight up toward me and the camera. So, here is one image of Mags ... captured quickly, full face ... and yet, she did manage to display a bit of displeasure ... just a teeny, tiny, little bit ...

THANKFUL THURSDAY
I'm always very thankful when Ms Peggy sends a new photo of beautiful Maggy.
And I will be forever thankful that she has given Maggy such a wonderful home.
Of course, I continue to miss this lovely kitty girl, she was (always will be) my heart cat ~
but I know she is in the best possible place she could be, and so I am happy!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY ~ MAGNIFICENT MAGGY
I guess everyone knows that when I moved from Florida to Maryland in the summer of 2013, it was necessary to rehome my beautiful heart cat, Maggy. But she was lucky and I was blessed, in that her new home was Peggy's Place ~ and there she remains. Still enjoying Florida's warm breezes, the occasional gecko to chase, her new kitty brothers and sisters in Peggy's furry family ... I still miss this sweet girl. This is a photo of her taken when I visited her in 2014 ... hard to believe that Maggy, who was just 11-months old when my husband and I adopted her, will be 13-years old later this month! Love you, pretty girl ... and as always, thank you, Miss Peggy!

A SUNDAY SELFIE with MAGGY
UPDATED: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
I'm sure many pet blogging friends remember our dear Miss Peggy of Peggy's Place ~ creator of the lovely "Peggy Blankies" that so very many of your kitties and little woofers love to curl-and-cozy up with.
My dear little Maggy went to live with Miss Peggy when I moved from Florida to Maryland a few years ago. And since today is National Pet Parent Day, it's also appropriate to say Thank You once again for the loving hands that care for Mags each day ~ thank you, Peggy.
Not a day goes by that I don't miss her, but thankfully I receive photos and news of her.
Recently I learned Maggy has become Miss Peggy's knitting companion ~ I don't know how accomplished her skills are yet ~ but I've no doubt she adds a few cat hairs to each and every blankie!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY
Back in the day, when I lived in Florida ~ Maggy truly loved our sunny and screened in back porch. Good for sun-puddle naps, fresh breezes and watching geckos at play! I imagine it was yet another gecko that caught her attention in this favorite old photo!
