Today, a little "Bonus Caturday Art"

JuneToo had moved back to her shelf for a little respite, plus Lambsie Pamsie had been missing her.  But I begged for her to come back down, just for a short time ~ I really needed comfort cuddles and hugs, so come down she did.  We sat together, we moaned, we groaned.  We commiserated.  We both wore our Raven caps.  We'll now put them away til next season.  She got our little "pigskin" from the toybox.  "wanna toss a few" she asked.  "not in the mood" I quietly said.   

Last Sunday, our last chance.  

Quoth the Raven, "nevermore".

By the way, just between you and me ~ JuneToo is getting smarter every day.  

Learning new things, finding her way around the studio.  

Why last night, she even "hid", yes!  

We were playing hide-and-seek after supper and I actually couldn't find her!  

And then SURPRISE ... she was under the polka dot chair.  

The same place I hide when strangers come into our apartment.  

OhMyCat, she is one smart kitty girl.

 I'm always happy when JuneToo and I nap together in the blankie basket.  

She even tucks her head under a blankie just like I do.

I snuggled under two blankies and JuneToo chose

the polka dot blankie that Ms Ellen made for me.

 Mommy, I just finished mine breakfast and wanted to play with JuneToo, but I can't find her!  
I know she was sitting right here by our LOVE pillow waiting for me ...

Slow down, June, easy does it, I think you were over excited and bumped her off the bed onto the floor ... look ... see ...

JUNETOO ~ MY STORY, MY SELFIE

My story, my selfie, by JuneToo.  "I'm so happy you came down off the shelf, so we could meet ~ nose to nose, you know!"  Me, too!  I was a surprise for you and your Mommy, I came all the way from the Show Me state, by the great Mississippi River and I lived at a wonderful blog called LEGACY with Mackey and Sydney, my two barker-brothers and a whole, whole lot of other doggy brothers that looked a "lot like me"!  Mine Mommy Sue and yours were furriends friends and mine made me for you!  "Well, I was so excited when you arrived here, and I think your hu-mom is super special and very talented and I am really thankful you came to live with me.  Is it OK if I show pictures of your family?  You purrably miss them a little and besides I'd like our other friends to meet them!"  Sure, it's fine, and I can say hi-and-hello to every furry that stops by today, I think it will be fun to be part of your bloggie, can I visit with you for a few more times?   "Oh, yes ... we'll spend this whole week together, having fun ... OK?"  OK!"

OUR REAL FIRST OF JANUARY

JUNE here ~ and this is my ofurrcial beginning of January!  Yes, I'm late, but allow me to explain.  Mine Mommy has been C-obsessed all week long, and believe me that is not cat-obsessed.  Oh, she always has lots of pictures-and-posts in her "june ready" folder, but as for doing new stuff, or going here and there to let me visit my friends, see what they're up to ~ well, not so much.

The C-obsessive thing has been C-Congress or C-Span.  Take your pick, both work. On Tuesday morning her computer (there's another "C") went to C-Span and it got stuck there until late last night.  She is such a pawlitical animal, the world stops spinning I think when those elephants-and-donkeys (ha, ha) start to have at it and ~ well, she said, "the donkeys behaved well, but the elephants sure got their trunks all twisted and snotty".  But enough of her nonsense ... it is my blog!

I'm introducing you today to my wonderful new friend, play pal, alter ego, she who wears the polka dot dress (I refuse to wear clothes!) and she who has purromised never to steal my foodz or treats ... meet JUNETOO.  I love her ...

Sorry, but mine Mommy has just poured another cup of coffee, so I am going to have to wait until tomorrow to begin to share the Story of JuneToo with you.  It's a wonderful story and I hope you'll come back to visit.  Oh, by the way, she promises to come down from her shelf (next to Lambsie Pamsie) so you can get to know her better!
