Angel Zoey was here for a few days, helping out, four paws and all ~ the Angel in Charge had told her she must always remove her halo when "at work" or cat-napping so as not to damage it, good kitty remembered to do so!  Anyway, she was helping the Zoolatry Human get all the 

July Events Badges ready to go, and there are quite a few: some just for the kit-cats, and some shared by kits-and-pups.  

You know we can't send them to you all by way of big "email blasts" anymore, they all just come right back to us, yeah, an awful nuisance.  

So we have to ask you to stop by and grab the ones you want to use or share, copy and paste to take part in.  You can use them without credit on your own blogs and personal social media.  Zoey made a little list (before she took her nap) of the events we know about for July.

Zoey winged her way back up through the clouds to spend Dad's Day cuddling with Poppy Vic, but before leaving she left a little message saying, "Happy Father's Day to my special On Earth Other Daddy Pierre and to all the many wonderful fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers and of course cat-and-dog fathers ... for the care and love they give to us.  Thank you."

THANKFUL THURSDAY ~ A Letter from Heaven 💙

Dear Furriends and Friends ~

   
     Just a little message from me to you ~ I wanted you to know that after a few mis-steps, along with some hard (well, not all that hard!) work, the Angel In Charge honored me with a "halo" this week!  I am thankful and proud.  It was just a short little ceremony with Poppy Vic holding me.

    Angel Maggy (with Bhu at her side) was there, along with many other Angels ~ like TK, Dio, Amber Da Weenie, and from so long ago such good friends like Ginger Jasper, Praline, Eric and Flynn and dear Phantom and Thunder.  I'm still looking for Calle, Mommy and Daddy Cat, I think they're on a kitty sojourn!  And TK had a special surprise for me!  We never met on earth, but he introduced me to his so-sweet sisfur, Squashies and I just fell in love with her right away.

     Oh dear, I'd best stop naming names or surely I will furget some of the special and impawtent ones who came before ~ I've seen so many here, those who visited with me at Zoolatry over the years.  All the wonderful and good friends who filled my days with fun and joy and yes, laughter and love!  The ones who make heaven a very good place to be.  But please, if any of you are thinking of coming here soon, as nice as it is ... stay on Earth awhile longer, you know you're wanted and needed there.

     If you happen to be wondering about my "wings", Angel In Charge said they are still being resized by the Angel Seamstress.  I am a tiny girl still and she's working on them for a purrfect fit, so the next time you see me am sure I'll be wearing them!  Oh, and she also told me I did need to hurry over to the pampering place and get a good brushing (the kind Aunt Dee would give me) and clean up my messy ruff you see here before I'd be allowed to wear my wings.

     I wonder if they are sparkly?

    And as the Zoolatry Human was always reminding me: good manners, Zo, good manners!  So, thank you all ... meow!

THANKFUL THURSDAY

This is a Thankful Thursday and an informational post.  As you may have noted during our May postings, Zoey was quite busy up in heaven, working toward her "halo and wings" (note please that she is very very close now!)  Well, the above photo shows one of her itty bitty kitty steps toward achieving this . . .

Also, as you may know, Zoey's life during recent years has been as a snow-kitty, living with Aunt Dee and spending her summers in Maryland while wintering in sunny Florida.  Just recently, as Aunt Dee traveled back north to Maryland, our dear Zoey's ashes came with her.  

But a few other things made the trip as well ~ some favored toys and treats came along for the ride, but only as far as the home of the kitties at Marg's Animals where Aunt Dee stopped for a visit.  

Zoey's toys were left there as a little gift for Ms Marg's many furry ones to enjoy, thus we think earning Zo an "extra point or two" with the Angel In Charge up above.  

And of course, Two Two, who many of you know and love took to the rounder right away!  Guess she was a little bit thankful!

PAWS TOGETHER for ZOEY

Purrs and prayers, and the Power of the Paw please for little Zoey.

On April 6, sweet little Zoey will be 14 years young.  Hard to believe!  She, who is the "forever kitten",

always silly, always curious, always into something and definitely always good for a giggle.

From 2006 to 2013, for 7 years, she owned Ann (the Zoolatry Human) and Poppy Vic.

When Poppy Vic crossed his Rainbow Bridge, and the ZH moved north, little Zo went off to a new home. 

And for the last 7 years, Zo has been a "snowbird, or a snow kitty".  

She spends her summers up north, and her winters in Florida ... 

with Aunt Dee and  Daddy Pierre and her bro-fur Pip.  

The Zoolatry Human visits her and of course, she is still a big part of Zoolatry.

Right now though, our little girl, is asking for lots of paws together ...

we hope the next few weeks, and with love and care, perhaps even a few months

will be good to her and she will stay with us for awhile yet.

But we know that the time will be coming when she will pack a little bag

and travel off to be with Poppy Vic ... he will welcome her.

We'll not allow her to ever have a moments pain.

Until that time comes, keep her in your thoughts please.
