HAPPY TUESDAY from A HAPPY MONDAY

So, there I was yesterday, just having a little sit-in-my-rounder-by-the-window time.

Of course, oh yes, I knew it was my day, sort of a special day I'd been told,

a birthday (that's what humans call it) ... 

the day when me, my little sisfurs 'n' brofurs

arrived here to join our kitty mommy for awhile before finding our forever homes.

Funny thing is I just can't remember all that!

Anyway, it was special all day long cause mine Mommy

kept reading me all kinds of wonderful words from all of you, my friends ~

OH, MEOW ~ THANK YOU SO MUCH!

And she gave me extra cuddles, extra brushies, extra treats.

But back to that sit-in-the-rounder thing ... 

all of a sudden, I'd heard this noise, looked over,

what was that on the table?

Stretch a paw, a little more, first one, then the other ...

Now it's all paws forward

as I smoosh my face into my yummy kitty purrthday cake!

Hi ~ it's June here and today is my 1st birthday! My Mom (the Zoolatry Hu-mom) got to do the first part of this post, up above, and she said I could do the next part of todays post ... so here I go!

When I first came here back in October I was a little bit scared.  There were big paws to fill ~ wonderful Dougie Dog, and Mom still misses him a lot but knows he is super happy with his family.  And she tells me often about Angel Maggy and Angel Zoey and misses both of them, too ... so I knew that ~ wow, meow ~ I had my work cut out for me, to do a good job here. And it was scary knowing there would be lots of new kitties and woofies and their humans to meet over the days to come.

But it came to be that so many of you ~ many, many ~ made it not scary at all, not hard at all.  You made it easy and fun, and welcomed me and meowed and woofed to me and made me feel every day like this was truly my new home and that you were all my new friends.  So, today on my birthday I want you each to know that you gave me the best gifts of all: kindness, happiness, friendship.  It's like every day has been a birthday day!

Today, no big fancy party, but I have put together a little goodie-bag for each kitty who comes by and a little goodie-bag for each woofie, too!  It's got a bit of my love inside, a nose tap kiss, a big thank you hug, and some special treats and toys I hope you will like!  So take your goodie-bag home with you please ... it's my way to say thanks for being my friend!  Oh, and to my fly-by friend Kismet, who is a bestest buddy, there is a bowl of sunflower seeds for you, and I'll put the ones you don't snak on in a little baggie for you to take home, OK? OK!
