THANKFUL THURSDAY

Sharing space ... PIP and ZOEY, side by side ... 

 These two, along with TK will enjoy another three months or so of Florida breezes ... while the ZH

will return to the (cold?) North this coming weekend.  It's been a good month, lots of relaxing, no

obligations to do much of anything!  Weather not always quite as warm or sunny as one might

want it to be ... but hey, far better than the northern climes!  

So will soon exchange clothing covered with kitty-fur, for clothing covered with doggy-fur!

An okay trade as I've admittedly much missed my grand boy and the grand dog.

Thank you, Ms Dee for a wonderful month, and a great winter break ... I will now be missing you!

Today, we'll join Brian's Thankful Thursday, as we've been thankful for each and

every day we've been given this past month, and all the wonderful times each day brought ...

SPACE X's FALCON HEAVY ~ Canaveral National Seashore

Still a bit cooler in Florida than one would like it to be ... here along the Canaveral National Seashore

yesterday only the avid fisherman and a few brave-the-chill families dotted the shoreline.

Yet, still as beautiful and untouched as I remembered it to be (and loved it) during my many years

of living here.  Driving into the seashore, one gets as close a glimpse as possible right now

of the FALCON HEAVY ... Space X's huge rocket, nearly ready to launch from KSC's pad 39A.

Being a space-fan, and having seen many shuttle and rocket launches over the years I am, of course,

selfishly hoping it will launch before I head back home ...

P.S. even though the Federal Government was on shutdown yesterday, personal thanks to the

unknown Park Ranger who somehow forgot (?) to close the gates to the National Seashore

allowing us, along with many others to drive in and through the park and shore and enjoy a visit there!

Thank you to Ms Marg and her clowder of beautiful cats, along with Joe and Smoke ... for sharing home and friendship with us on our way south to Florida.  It was a wonderful visit with you and "yours" ... until we meet again ... hugs and love!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN ~

It's still middle of the night ... the suitcase and some assorted bags of varying sizes (NO, Dougie Dog, you don't fit in any of those bags!) are scattered here and there!  Should get a bit of sleep, before we know it ... Auntie Dee will be here!  And then it will be time to get on the road again! 

YAY!  We're off for our annual vacation and a month in Florida ... OMD and OMC ... it better not be 9-degrees down there!  Oh please, oh please.  Bye bye cold, bye bye wind and bye bye snow.

First stop:  Marg's Animals!  Yes!  A visit with our good friend (not to mention Joe and Smoke and a wholabunch of kitty cats) for a few days.  Hi, Marg ... see you soon ... is it warmer there?

And who could this be?  It's HORTON!  He's our home away from home ... and even if it's cold outside, he'll keep us warm and cozy inside where we have everything we need ... INCLUDING, yes ... INCLUDING ... three cuddly kitties, also on their winter vacation, TK, Pip and Zoey! 

So, this month ... some posting, here and there, on and off.

Some emails, here and there, on and off.

But it is vacation time ... so ... see you when we see you!
