It was 1974, I was single, living alone and a co-worker was moving away.  She had a little cat she could not take with her.  Without a thought, I volunteered ~ the rest is history.  NOMI ~ my first ever cat.  Thank you, sweet girl for introducing me to the love and joy of being owned by a cat.  [Photo converted from an old 35mm slide, the only picture I have of her.]

A TALE: DIO and DROOL [2010]

Not being much of a photographer, it's always exciting when I capture what I think is a cool photo!  This one has been posted before ~ cause I really love it.  My littlest grandson, and I'm about to photo him in profile hopefully catching his "drooling" in the sunlight ~ and Dio walks by and pauses ~ not only framing grandboys profile, but adding color and texture behind his sweet face.  Ah, the excitement of catching what just might be a really cute picture ...
