I know, meow, I know. Mine Mommy said we I wouldn't be back on Zoolatry
until October ... but then I pawed at her with a reminder 'bout our RAVENS ... so, of course ...
I quickly pawed over to Fayette Street, and tossed a few pennies
for good luck on Edgar's infamous marker at Westminster Hall ...
today our Baltimore Ravens meet up with the Kansas City Chiefs!
We're rather well known rivals
and each standing 1-2 in the rankings right now.
As always, may the best team win!
And yes, once again, we share a warm and friendly rivalry
with our friends, The OP Pack, Misty and Timber
who will of course, root for their Chiefs!
And one more thing, if anyone is curious about the Poe pennies,
Good luck to both teams. May you enjoy a good game.
ReplyDeleteJune, you look cute wearing the Raven's hat. Go Ravens!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and a happy week ahead.
May the best team win, as they say, though it is always on the day.
ReplyDeleteERin
We always root for the Ravens AND the Commanders (we still call them the Redskins!). WOO HOO!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Good luck to both teams, but am more drawn to The Ravens because of Edgar Allan Poe. It was very interesting to read about the Pennies for Poe.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your team.
ReplyDeleteI loved Poe in high school, and have not read him since then. no football for me, and now that bob has memory issues he doesn't enjoy it as much as he did. enjoy your game
ReplyDeleteGood luck today. It's going to be a tough game, but we're rooting for your Ravens today.
ReplyDeleteHope your team does well! Tigris and Styx

Charlee: "Our Dada's friends were talking about football when they were finishing up the video game they play on Sundays! As usual, our Dada had no clue what was going on ..."
ReplyDeleteWe hope it is a great game, Juney. Good luck to your Ravens! XO
ReplyDeleteI hope it’s a good game, June!
ReplyDeleteMay it be a great game, with no injuries (that's always my biggest worry).
ReplyDeleteYou are quite the fan gal sweetest June!
ReplyDeleteI loved Poe! He had a tortie :)
ReplyDeleteMissed this earlier but good luck to the Ravens! And all other teams, too. Interesting about Edgar Allan Poe!
ReplyDeleteTough one, but no one has won or lost a championship in September
ReplyDeleteHow did we miss this post? Mom looked it up and now we know that the Chiefs won it. I'm so sorry, Juney.
ReplyDeleteWe have given up on our team. In a few weeks we will see if they have their stuff together but we turned off the game at half time yesterday and will not be watching any football for a while. As always, they are losers and an embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteJune I don't follow NFL but I do hope your Ravens and Misty and Timber's Chiefs played to the best of their ability
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
Great! What did Edgar Allan Poe say to you June?
ReplyDeleteIt was an ugly game, June. So sorry.
