Mine Mommy has had a lot on her plate (that's some silly human expression). There's never a lot on my plate, er, in my bowl, so to speak. I mean the minute there is, well, it's gone in another minute! And yes, yesterday, she finally (FINALLY) remembered to give me foodz. That is purrably evident in my rather "rotund" images below, sigh. In any case, it's not just all the 'puter stuff, she's sold her old/old car and has been setting up "home delivery for foodz", for her (mine was already set up). It didn't go so well the first time, she did the online order wrong! And all the paperwork with selling the car (more online) ... and a few other stuffs I'll not go into ... Anywayz, when she plopped down in our my polka dot chair I offered to pose nicely for a picture for today, so she wouldn't have to worry about my bloggie post, wasn't that nice of me? I did my very best. Whether she did her very best is open to question.
I'd say you both did your best and did a wonderful job. I do like that kitty hanging storage basket behind you, June!
ReplyDeleteI've managed without a car for over 20 years, and while it can be limiting in terms of travel, you don't really need one if you live somewhere with decent public transit and access to the occasional taxi. I used to miss the convenience, but there are A LOT of impatient, idiot drivers, and it's scary enough to be a pedestrian these days. Besides, most stores offer delivery now, have done since COVID, so that makes shopping much easier, especially for large and/or heavy items. Hopefully your mom won't miss her old car, June!
June, we love all your pictures today! We don't care how broad the view is today, we just love spotting June within it! We kind of like the strange kitty on the wall, it's art inspired by lovely kitty faces!
ReplyDeleteWe can tell that your Meowmy's online frustration level is high, June.
ReplyDeleteHow nice of you to help out.
Letting our old cars go happens before we know it. It helps if you're on a bus line or if you have friends who like to shop together. You are a very cute girl, Juney!
ReplyDeleteOh June ~ you are adorable and Mama photographed you well ~ We humans sometime need help though ~ be patient sweet one ~ hugs,

That is a lovely photo of you, June. You were very thoughtful to help your Mommy by posing so nicely. I get all of my groceries delivered in since Covid. I like the convenience of it and kept it going.
ReplyDeleteYou are very cute sweet June and very patient too!
ReplyDeleteYour mom sure has been busy, June. That is such a cute picture of you. It was so nice of you to pose for her so nicely.

ReplyDeleteIf only I could have too much on my plate
ReplyDeleteI love that kitty basket! Be patient with your mom...she has a lot going on!
ReplyDeleteYour mommy has been busy. You are such a beauty. XO
ReplyDeleteYou posed very nicely and showed us your mommy is remembering to feed you, even if it doesn't seem that way to you.
ReplyDeleteI know your mommy will work out not having a car.
Aww, that was so sweet of you to help out with a nice pose! Sorry there is so much stuff that causes your Mine Mommy to be all in a tizzy about. Our petcretary and pawppy know how that goes...maybe too well.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute pics, June and yes, you did good posing for her. Sorry your Mom has been busy but I'm sure she's got everything under control now. Will she buy a new car or just Uber around when she needs to?
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "I think that kitty on the wall is trying to horn in on your treats, June!"
ReplyDeleteOur folks keep going to look for and BUY what they're saying will be their last car. And something about buying a strong fitted cover for the back seat. Hey, it's not MY fault my nails have ripped up the leather seats in that old Lexus they own...is it? Lucy
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with my folks to pick out a new car today! I'm at work with my Mommy taking naps so I can give my bestest opinion. And June, that middle picture is a closeup and doesn't show your..um... your... waistline! XOX Xena
