Yes, meowz, today I am a bit of a basket case, you know, having a little emotional distress.
Of course, that is not preventing me from napping [nothing really ever prevents a cat from its naps].
My blankie basket is my go-to place now that cool-cold weather has come to us,
and though weather purr-sons said we'd have snow today, I heard
mine Mommy say "that's silly, at 39 degrees, not gonna happen" and she
was right, cause it's dreary cold rain instead, rather have snow. Meowz.
Sorry, I digressed. Last night I messed up my blankies in the basket
something fierce, blame it on the mousie I was dream chasing.
And when I jumped in here early this morning for said nap, I could not,
could not get myself covered up and where was mine Mommy who would
usually purr-form that task when I could not, could not?
Gone girl, gone. Nowhere. Not within meowzing distance.
So here I am half a cat covered.
Half a cat uncovered.
Half warm.
Half cold.
Yet not preventing me from napping,
meowz.
A basket case.

What a nice snuggly warm spot to sleep, Juney. We didn't get any snow either - just the dreary cold freezing rain.
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side you have a cozy basket for your case no matter how the blankies fall and you are adorable. Sorry about the rain, winter cold rain is the worst. Hopefully it doesn't freeze!
ReplyDeleteindeed... but a basket is a good place top spend that wednesday
ReplyDeleteCute images of Juney in her basket with a warm blanket. It is cold out there, stay warm and safe. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThose are really pretty pics of you, June, and we like that blankie! Too bad your Mommy was unavailable to adjust it correctly.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
You're the very best kind of basket case, June. If there were room, I'd curl up in there with you! 🙃😻
ReplyDeleteYou are the cutest basket case we've ever seen, Junie!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
June, the day may be dreary, but hopefully you'll find a way to be a comfy case of a kitty girl in a basket!
ReplyDeleteJune, you are having a rough time of it, yeah?
ReplyDeleteMay we suggest a nap on your favorite polkadot chair?
June I agree with the LLB gang. I'd gladly join you in that cozy basket.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your ORNERY-ments
Hugs cecilia
Oh dear, I hope your Mommie swooped in to save the day and turn you into a super cozy and warm kitty.
ReplyDeletejuney chowder…truzt me on thiz…rain over sno…any day 🤬❄️❄️❄️❄️
ReplyDeleteJune, you have to take matters into your own paws. I cover myself every single day. (I like doing it because it drives Mom and Dad nuts that they can't find me). They run around forever screaming my name. Mom gets more hysterical with each passing minute! Try it! It's LOADS of fun! Love, Roary
ReplyDeleteThe basket looks nice and cozy, even with the half-size blanket! Hope you get more soon and stay nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom gets back soon so she can cover you up, June.
ReplyDeleteYou really are a basket case, but a lovely one, June!
ReplyDeleteYou poor kitty. I hope your mommy covers you soon. XO
ReplyDeleteI'd love to curl up with you and hide in there!
ReplyDeleteThat is a super nice and warm basket of June!
ReplyDeleteChia: BOL, June, you're funny. Basket case, BOL. Just gotta try harder like us dogs to and you'll get all the covers over you!
ReplyDeleteYou're a basket case of the very cutest kind, Juney! XO
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy being a basket case, I hope you were able to stay mostly warm.
ReplyDeleteThat basket looks like the purrfect place to nap, June.
