I usually grab my spot at the foot of the day bed before mine Mommy comes to take her spot. That way I don't have to worry about her feetz wiggling-and-waggling me out of my comfort zone. But last night, listening to all the weather purrsons talk about a big storm on the way, I thought it best to keep watch, you know, it's my job to be the purr-tector here. And knowing that no matter the weather ~ that window will still be open ~ yes, open ~ I might need to alert her should big snows or ice [not that ICE], thunders or wind try to enter ... so I chose to sleep in our my polka dot chair. Being my good mine Mommy, when she noticed me "not in the bed", she covered me with a little blankie ... meowz.
Now, early morning. She didn't seem to notice I'd rearranged the blankie, okay, I'd done my duty overnight, we stayed warm and safe. She's enjoying coffee, I've had some good breakfast to warm my tummy. I had only a very quick look at Charles Street from "my new tree" ~ everything all white, sparkling ~ and yes, some cold windy air coming in through that open window.
So, here I am. Back in our my polka dot chair. I expect to spend the rest of the day here. Sunrise is at 7:19 am today. I kinda sorta don't think she will rise and shine today, at least not here.
Yeah. So, that's all I've got.
Wherever you are, have a good, safe and warm Sunday.
Love, meowz, June

ReplyDeleteIt is a bit snowy here too and it seems we may be getting more tonight and tomorrow.
Makes me glad to be cozy indoors!

Sparkly cold and white outside, warm and polka dots inside (and fed); surely the best way to be....
