THE GUESSING GAME by JUNE

Last night I was getting my brushie time with mine Mommy and I seized the moment to have a little talk with her.  You see, she'd been out-and-about earlier in the day doing I've no idea what, doing Mommy-things ... but I'd also seized that moment to take a look at Zoolatry ~ and OMC, t'was a disappointment to say the least that post after post recently was all this politics stuff.  Now I know that's important to her, and I don't disagree ... I fully share her opinions and feelings, but s'riously, this is my blog ... so, to summarize ... this is kinda sorta what I said to her (of course as she was gently brushing me ... so there'd be no offense taken ... no upsets, or anything like that ... as it can be a sensitive topic you know ...)

"ah, be sure to brush more on my right side please, I think some furs are stuck here,
yes, that's good ... purrs ... meowz ...
did you enjoy yoga class this morning?  oh, sorry you didn't do well,
your knee is still sore and swollen, oh dear!
look mommy, i haven't seen me - my picture, me minus that pawlitical stuff,
well, yeah, i know it's impawtent to you us, but just cute sweet purrty me
on our my blog all week so i kinda sorta think it's time, don't you?
oh, now you can brush harder, over to the left please and maybe just a little bit
on the top of my head in between the ears but don't you dare touch
my ears or you'll regret it forever and a day
moving on now ... about tomorrows post ... meowz,
anyway, i put together a guessing game and all you have to do is click on
draft posts it's all done no work for you and by the way
i like your new hair cut do you want me to give you some brushies
on those new furs up top here, meowz?"

THE GUESSING GAME with JUNE [post created by June]

CAN YOU GUESS?
When I was alone and bored yesterday, and mine Mommy was out doing
Mommy things ... did I or did I not knock the ball off the table?

CAN YOU GUESS?
Before she came home and I had to entertain myself for such a very
long time which no kitty should be forced to do, did I or
did I not bat my jingle ball all 'round the living room floor?

CAN YOU GUESS?
Obviously I expressed my frustration at being left alone and being left
alone for a bazillion hours by dumping all my toys out of my toy basket and
then scattering them all over the floor.  Question: was I or was I not
a good girl kitty by putting them back into the toy basket
before mine Mommy came home?

There are no prizes awarded for correct answers.
Meowz.

Comment from the Mommy: JUNE got her way and this post contains no political messaging.

  1. It does get boring when Mom is gone for a long time but we usually do a lot of napping, kind of a cat thing to do but we hounds enjoy it as well. You have some nice toys to keep you busy, and you know your mom will be back eventually.

  2. Lol, June! You remind me of my dog Miney taking out all her toys and leaving them all over the house.
I am sure it feels good to have your hair brushed. Cute photos. Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

  3. My lot always miss me. Little Cleo is always at the door when I come in. She has a habit of going around my feet, which isn't so great after my ankle injury so need to be careful! Lovely photos June :-D

  5. June, when your mom's out, that's the time to wreak havoc. Heh heh.

I read your mom's political posts, but since I am proudly πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦, I do my best to refrain from commenting at least most of the time. ❤️❤️

  13. You sure have a lot of toys to keep you entertained, June. I doubt that you put any of those toys back in your toy box because you look so content all snuggled up in it.

  14. June, I am guessing you did knock the ball off the table! I think you did give that jingle ball a bit of a nudge. I think you dumped those toys and scattered them all over the floor. I do not think you put even one of your toys back in the toy basket BUT it does not mean you were not a good girl. You are a good girl, June. Those are my guesses.
With regard to the political messaging it is nice to be able to come here and discuss and/or make comments in a safe place.

  15. It's hard to believe that your Mommy went out and left you on your own for a bazillion hours, June. Would you like me to report her to the authorities? I know that that's a huge step and one only to be taken in the most dire of circumstances. Perhaps you could try to have further talks with her about your reasonable expectations and her duty of care and let us know how you get on. It's a step in the right direction that there's multiple pics of you today and no political stuff, so it seems that she does take notice of what you say.

  19. I don't think you would pick them up after dumping them- no self-respecting cat would. XO

  20. You are a very good girl, Juney. There's nothing wrong with keeping yourself entertained when Mom is our doing her Mom stuff. :)

  21. I think, like so many children and pets, you played with your toys, knocking them off and around and out of the bin, but when it was time to put them away, rather forgot. It’s not because you mean to, it’s just because it happens that way.

    Everyone needs a break sometimes.

    Lulu: "What about the dogs?"
    Oona: "What about them?"

  24. We're so sorry you had to entertain yourself while your Mommy was out doing Mommy things. When Momy is away, all's fair at playing with toys, we say.
