"NAME THE NINE" CONTEST
in support of the new Cat Blogosphere

Contest is open to all pet bloggers,
today, Wednesday, September 2 through Saturday, September 5, 2026, midnight, ET.
[only CB Team Members are excluded from taking part]
You may have seen several of these pets, joining our team, on our header to
celebrate the new Cat Blogosphere on August 30, and perhaps you know them!
A few others were a bit late to the party, though we still opened the doors.
So -- how does this work?
NAME THE NINE
no more, no less!
You can leave their names in comments here, but you might prefer to send to
us by email [zoolatry at gmail dot com], with "Name The Nine" in the subject line.
The following weekend, all entries will go into June's basket, and she'll paw out
three random winners. Yes, random.
Winners will be notified by email, and a post published the weekend
of September 12/13, 2026.
All three winners will receive gifts*, valued up to $30.00 US, of their choice from the
GIFT TOPIA shop supporting the Cat Blogosphere operating expenses.
Specific details on ordering of gifts will be provided to each winner.

Look closely. For some of our friends, only one name is possible.
For others, several names will work - as they strongly resemble different pet friends.
And that's okay, there are no completely right-or-wrong answers in the contest.
But, you can still choose only nine!
More, or less, and sorry to say, but June won't accept your entry.
We know most of the pups but we have homework to do on the kitties.
